Why Alte Sites Beats DIY Website Builders for Artists

Most platforms for musicians claim to be “all-in-one.”But here’s the truth: they still make you do all the work. Bandzoogle, Squarespace, and other DIY website builders give you the tools…but you’re the one dragging, dropping, designing, and fixing. And if you’re not tech-savvy?Your site ends up looking half-finished, underused, or abandoned.   The Weak Spots of the Big Names Bandzoogle Geared toward musicians, yes. But you’re stuck with a DIY builder that takes hours— if not days to figure out. You still need to design everything yourself. Squarespace Looks nice, but it’s not built for artists. Merch, music players, and fan tools are all workarounds. Costs more than Bandzoogle for fewer music-focused features. Hiring a Developer Expensive upfront ($500–$5,000+). Ongoing updates and changes cost extra. If you don’t maintain it, your site breaks down fast. So where does that leave most artists? With sites they don’t update.Tools they don’t use.And fans they don’t fully capture. How Alte Sites Fixes This Alte Sites was built on a simple idea:Artists shouldn’t have to be web designers. The Hidden Cost of “Do-It-Yourself” Website Builders

Scroll through ads for website services and you’ll see the same pitch over and over: “Your dream site in minutes!”“Everything you need in one package!” The catch? Those “all-in-one” promises usually stop at giving you a login. After that, you’re on your own. They hand you the tools but not the results. What You Actually Get You sign up, pick a template, and drag a few things around. It feels quick at first, but soon you’re stuck with: A dashboard packed with settings that make no sense Features that look good in the demo but not on your actual site Tech support that forwards you to a help article instead of solving your problem It’s called the DIY trap. Everything looks easy until you realize you’re building without a plan. What’s Missing A website isn’t just a pretty design online. It’s supposed to be a real marketing engine for your business. That means you need to: Structure your pages so people take action Make it responsive on every device Connect analytics, lead capture, and marketing tools Keep it secure and updated over time Without those things, you don’t really own a business website — you own a digital flyer. A Better Way This is where Alte Sites flips the script. Instead of tossing you into a builder and wishing you luck, we build everything for you. Here’s what that looks like: Your website is live in under a week Every tool and feature is ready out of the box You can ask questions and get instant answers You leave with a finished, usable site — not a “coming soon” page No confusion. No endless tinkering. Just a working site you can grow with.

How to Point Your Domain to Alte Sites

How to Point Your Domain to Alte Sites Our nameserver is ns1.dns-parking.com ns2.dns-parking.com You should use these nameservers to point your domain to Alte Sites. The process of changing nameservers on various registrars is quite similar. Here’s what you need to do to point your domain name to Alte Sites’ hosting (Hostinger): Log in to your domain registrar’s control panel. If you need to remember the name of the registrar’s company, use WHOIS lookup. Search for your domain registrar’s own DNS Zone Editor. However, depending on the registrar, it can be named differently. Common names include “DNS Editor,” “Manage DNS Settings,” “Change Nameservers,” or DNS Details. Delete all values (if any) from the nameserver fields and replace them with Hostinger’s nameservers. Save your changes. It might take up to 24 hours for DNS to fully propagate worldwide. However, another option is to edit the nameservers via the dedicated nameservers section.
