Point a Domain from GoDaddy to Alte Sites
Here’s how to do it:
- Open the Domain Portfolio page on GoDaddy.
- Click on the three-dot icon next to the domain name you want to transfer and select Edit DNS.
- Open the Nameservers tab and select Change Nameservers.
- Choose I’ll use my own nameservers and enter our hosting nameservers:
ns1.dns-parking.com
ns2.dns-parking.com
- Click Save once you’re done. GoDaddy may ask you to verify—confirm the changes. The DNS will take up to 24 hours to fully propagate worldwide.
6. Once the DNS changes have propagated, your domain will point to our hosting and we can connect it to the new website we’re creating. Please note that during this process, your website may be temporarily unreachable until everything is fully set up.
This can take 2–4 days, but don’t worry—we’ll ensure everything runs smoothly and there’s nothing for you to worry about.
